It can penetrates deeply into your skin and deep cleanse your pores.

A good foam is SOFT, THICK and FLUFFY like the Marshmallow.
The foam is so thick and dense that while you are washing your face, your hands will not be in contact with your skin directly, therefore reducing irritation caused by friction of your hands and skin rubbing together.

A good foam does not drip as well!

It is collagen enriched, therefore leaving your skin SOFT, SUPPLE and BABY SMOOTH!

One bottle = 150 pumps and can last you for about 2 months?
Price = $13.90 and can be found at all major supermarket and retail stores. Very affordable in the sense.

My verdict: As the bubbles are sooo dense and thick, 2 pumps are more than enough to cover my entire face. My skin does not feel tight after washing and felt really clean (yet not squeaky clean) thereafter! If you just want a basic and simple foam cleanser, this is good enough!

Will I buy it again? Yes and no. I don’t mind having it as my basic cleanser but if I need something more, I would go for something else. Oh and it is quite fun playing with the foam! hahaha!

Review: Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Mousse

I have been using the new Biore Sunblock UV Aqua Rich Watery Mousse SPF50 PA+++ for quite some time now.
Some of you may prefer to use SPF30 sunblock while others like me prefer to use SPF50 sunblock. Reason being? My bus stop is always a million miles away from my house and I usually have to walk under the sun for 15 to 20 mins. I also do not reapply my sunblock hence SPF50 is a safe bet for me. Anything higher is too much for daily use.

This Biore sunblock comes in a tube for easy dispensing. But then again, I find the tube too small!

It has a creamy texture when you first apply but magically, this sunblock blends into my skin pretty well!
Feedback from a  friend who also uses this is that she finds it leaves a white cast. It didn’t happen to me though but I feel it does brightens up my skintone.

This product is enriched with Hyaluronic Acid and Citrus Essence to hydrate and soften skin.
I think it does what it claims!
I like the dewy and hydrated look when I applied the sunblock on. For those looking for matte finish, this may not be the one for you.

Before using this sunblock, I’d also apply my Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. Both of them work well together and my sebum production is also reduced. My skin starts to feel oily about 4 hours later.
As my skin produce more sebum when it is dehydrated (note:  dehydrated skin not dry skin), I try to use products that are moisturizing enough yet not too much for my normal/combi skin.

The downside of this product is that it contains Alcohol and Dimenthicone (a type of silicone) which can be comodogenic.
So far, I do not experience outbreaks from using this product but I felt there were tiny little clogged pores on my skin. I am not sure what causes it but I suspect it could be this sunblock.
I am still using it because I love the texture and the moisturizing effect but I’m not too sure if I’d repurchase.

Tip: Always apply your sunblock in patting motion. (That’s what the Adonis beautician told me!)

I love putting makeup. Painting colours on my face is a joy to me especially when I can become prettier and have flawless skin within an hour.

Yes. I do have all the time in the world to paint my face using different makeup tools and colours especially during weekends!

So usually during the weekend, I’ll have full makeup on:

That’s a huge load of things on my face.
On top of that, I still have my sunblock on.

But I’m pretty for the day.
So I’m happy for the day.

Yes the happiness is only temporary. Cos when I’m about to go home, I’d start to worry …

I’m worried about the removal of my makeup!!

Damm.

I used 1 hour to do my makeup, so does that means I have to spend ANOTHER ONE HOUR trying to remove my makeup?!

Especially my eyemakeup which can be a pain in the ass at times.
It can take quite awhile for the waterproof mascara to be removed completely.
Sometimes when I can’t remove them completely, I’d hop onto the bed just like that.
This is bad cos the risk of me getting eye infection would be very very high …

But then again, I want to SLEEP instead of spending so much time removing them!

The amazing thing is it really cleans off my eye makeup effortlessly and I spend less than 3 mins on each eye! This cleanser is so gentle to my eyes that it didn’t sting or cause any uncomfortable irritation. It is not oily as well.

Now here’s something even better. I did not experience any dropping of lashes!!
Goes to show that I didn’t have to tug my lashes much when removing mascara!!
