Vicky from Viccal organized a THANK YOU bloggers event at A Curious Tee Pee located at Scape.
They had many rounds of it so that the venue will not be so packed for 100 bloggers.

I wasn’t supposed to attend the first round but Jermaine extended the invitation to me.

I’m really surprised and glad that Viccal is doing so and really listening to us.

Like I mentioned the other time, Viccal has 3 range of serums cater to different skin condition and needs.
I’ll not go on and on about the same thing cos you can read it on that post.

I just want to share my views of Viccal Serum No. 2.11 Detox and Heal after using the entire bottle day and night before my moisturizer.

It is formulated with 11 active ingredients for calm, soothed skin.
At first when I started using it, I experienced slight outbreaks on my cheeks and forehead. I know this product is working because it is undergoing the detoxification stage.
Only after the detoxification stage will the skin start to heal. So I continued to use.
And this product proves to me that it is working! Not only did my outbreak healed, my skin also start to improve.
How do I tell? I tell it from the outbreak I get during PMS. It was much lesser and I am even experiencing good skin days during my period.
I don’t make the claim myself but my beautician from Adonis said so.

Instead of taking oral medication to suppress the formation of pimples, I believe that detoxifying all the dirty things on our face would probably ensure lesser or repeated outbreaks in the future. Of course, during the detoxification period, lots of care for the skin is required. Never poke your pimples; let the beauticians do it for you. Pair it with regular facials, your skin will definitely be healthy in no time!

A bottle of the serum can last a good 3 to 4 months.
So I guess if my budget allows, I might get another bottle to use!

This was the mineral foundation used on me.

“Thank god your skin is flawless!”  This was what the MUA said to me.
Just a few stroke of applying it with a brush, my skin turned from GOOD  to GREAT!

I would say that the coverage is really AWESOME and my skin doesn’t felt like there is anything on.
The powder was fine and it glides on really well on my skin.

I reapplied my falsies cos they became droppy after the makeover. lol!

This look is sooo glamorous. I could get used to this.
The only setback is there is not much oil control. So you probably have to use a good primer with good oil control prior to this foundation.

The thing about Mineral Makeup is that the molecules are big and they won’t clog your pores.
Your skin can still breathe while wearing mineral makeup. You can even sleep with it though I wouldn’t recommend this bad habit!

And we had some finger food served.
It wasn’t fantastic so I wouldn’t recommend any.

Viccal also kindly gave each of us another small bottle of the serum to try.
I was given Serum No. 1.10. I have yet to use it regularly to give my honest review.

The use of a serum is to get extra nutrients into the deeper layers of your skin which a moisturizer is not able to reach.

As all of you who followed my blog may know by now that I have combination skin that is sensitive and prone to redness. Even though I do not have pimples that often anymore, it doesn’t mean that I do not experience breakout. In fact, I do, esp before my period comes.
Also, what is most disturbing is my unsightly pores that became even obvious during mid-day when oil starts secreting.

So I started using Viccal No.2 Serum – Detoxifying and Heal.

It is recommended for skin that is prone to breakout, acne, mild eczema and skin that is prone to blackhead, whitehead and oil seed.

Well done! This is absolutely custom made for me!

You can expect the process to first undergo detoxification before your face heals.

Do you know that the real cause of acne may not ultimately be bacteria?

So you’ve clean your face religiously everyday. Why is it that you are still having outbreak?
It is probably because your body is toxic.

What causes toxic?
- acidic food (meat, wheat, sugars, etc)
- improperly combined food causing impaired digestion
- water/air pollution
- stress creates acidic/toxic substances in your body
- prescription medicines
- chemicals, hormones and additives in food

Continuous use of this serum can soothe and calm acne-prone skin. Because it helps to gently clarify the skin, it can also be used to improve the appearance of areas prone to black heads and white heads.

Because of its watery nature, it can get rather messy. Therefore I would drip 3 or 4 drops at the back of my hands before applying it to my face. Just massage until fully absorbed.
I use it twice daily, before moisturizing.

For the first 2 weeks of usage, I experience slight outbreak on my forehead, cheek and chin. This outbreak didn’t cause too much appearance trouble so I’m fine with it.
And they usually heals in a week’s time.

And warning!! Do not pick the pimples during the detoxification stage. Be patient!

After near 1 month of continuous usage twice a day, I find that my pores did become smaller, and part of my face which used to be clogged appear to be smooth now.
But apparently, I don’t think it has healed my face completely.

I thought I would show you a close up of my skin before and after using the product.
The “before” was taken on 5th of March and the “After” just yesterday.

From the picture, I can tell that my pores really did get smaller and my skin looks smoother with lesser tiny little red bumps. This seem like quite an improvement to me!
