So I actually won the whole full set of the above Vichy Essentielles products from participating in Holly Jean’s giveaway!
The range consists of
- Facial Emulsion for normal to combination skin (Moisturizer for face)
- Body Cream Milk for Dry skin (Moisturizer for body)
- Facial Cleanser
- Shower Gel
From the name Essentielles, you might have guessed that this range is for the no fuss girls.
Girls who have not much skin issues to deal with and just want a simple and fuss free skincare regime.
One common ingredient of this range product is the ROSE extract.
Rose is known for its soothing properties. It contains Polyphenols that in nature protect flowers against external aggressions.
But of course, the rose smells nice too! It resembles the smell of a baby. Really!

The Facial Emulsion is my favourite of them all.
I’ve been using it religiously everyday and night for weeks.
It is creme-gel based and does not feels heavy on the skin.
While blending it out ….
It leaves a film on the skin which I believe help to protect and hydrate the skin.
And of course I like it that it gives my face a healthy radiant glow.
Yes, this is my bare face, straight after applying the product.
There is slight stickiness though.
(Pardon the few zits on my forehead, it is my PMS period!
But hey my skin don’t look too bad despite it isn’t it?)
Overall, I’m satisfied with this product and I’m recommending to girls without much skin problems. If you have good skin to begin with, maintain it! Try Essentielles.
