Here’s a swatch.

It smoothen my skin texture and covers my green vein well. It also doesn’t feel sticky on my skin. Apparently this colour is a little dark compared to the other BB creams I’m currently using. I used it on my face once and it just didn’t blend into my skintone (NW20). Hence I recommend this to people who is fair to medium skintone (NC25 perhaps). This BB cream has a medium coverage and it’s pretty matte looking.

We did a comparison to another BB cream in the market which has a similar packaging like that of Za’s. If you are smart enough, you might be able to guess it! :p

And the result shows that Brand X has more shine than Za’s. And Za evens out the skintone and diminish the look of fine lines while Brand X actually accentuates the fine lines. Well, I guess the winner here is obvious isn’t it?

Also, another selling point of this BB cream is that it has SPF43 PA+++ protection!! It doubles up as a sunscreen too! What’s not to love isn’t it?

If you ask which part of my makeup do I pay the most attention on, I’d say it’s the EYES. Why? Simply because when I play up my eyes, I do not draw attention on my chubby cheeks and fat nose. :p

No need for surgeries. Just do some visual tricks. hehe.

Yeap. Based on the fact that most girls place emphasis on the eyes, Za has come up with a series of new eyemakeup, with a huge focus on mascara!

They have 3 type of mascara: wide eyes, long and volume.
Use all 3 mascara together will result in eyelashes as pretty as falsies!

This is the wand of their mascara base. Very important if you want fuller longer lashes.

Did a personality quiz and I am the girl next door!

Base on our results, Za told us which mascara is suitable for our personality.
And I am most suited for the wide eyes mascara.

Double combs for a pretty fan out effect.

I have tried the mascara and I really love the fan out effect this mascara gave. It also curls up my lashes pretty well! Best of all? It is not difficult to remove the mascara at the end of the day.

Couldn’t capture her lashes due to flash but its obvious that Model has big small eyes now. Lolol.

Even though I’m no longer using any concealer, I’ve to tell you that I used to use this concealer!
It has 3 shades and really conceals well!! Especially good for skin with visible pores and scars.

And so it turns out that the boss of NYNY is the boss of Empire State too!

End result! Pretty girl with lovely turquoise eye makeup.

Wilson also said that we should pat our foundation first before swiping it to blend.
For eye makeup, we should always blend our eyeshadow from outside to inside so as to avoid making a mess.

Quick review for ZA new prodcuts and OFTD

I just want to do a quick review of ZA Instant Brightener and ZA true white plus foundation. I will not be putting up any pictures of the products since many bloggers have already advertised for it. I’m sure you’ve seen enough.

Before I go on, here are some things which you may want to know.

Skin Type: Combination Skin with mid-day shine.
Problems of skin: Dark eye circles, enlarge pores, slight redness from past pimples, rough skin texture on the nose. (Ya, I am not perfect!)

Foundation shade: 20

This is how I look like after applying both products since 9.30am all the way till 10.30pm.
13 hours without any touch up except blotting away excess oil ONCE with TISSUE in the afternoon.

Close up a bit … you can see that it is not totally matte at the end of the day, with slight shine on my skin that is still bearable.

My thoughts on
ZA instant brightener: It was in a pinky shade which instantly brighten up my skin upon applying. Does not feel sticky yet smoothen out my skin texture. There isn’t a white cast when applied. However, I find it difficult to spread it across my face and I have to use more than what I usually do with my BB cream. It has slight shimmers which may or may not be appealing to other users. But for me, I’m fine with it as I like having dewy look. It does not covers imperfections like freckles, scars or dark circles.

ZA true white plus: I’m usually a ZA21 but for this series, I’m surprise that I have to change a new shade; ZA20. So girls, please try your foundation on ur jawline before purchasing. The powder is very smooth and glides on easily on the skin.
As you can see from picture, the powder did not oxidize on me;
Enough to cover my pores but not my dark circles or my freckles. As I do not have the habit of using concealer, what I did was to apply BB cream on my dark circles prior to using the foundation. Oh and I’m not too sure what is the difference between this powder and previous powders because to me they all feel the same on my skin!

Using both products together: I thought they worked well together. However, you will need to make sure you blend the brightener really well before applying the foundation, otherwise cakiness may occur. Also, I realise that by early evening, my makeup starts to look a little greasy and cakey due to perspiration and excess oil. This wasn’t a good thing as I normally do not touch up unless necessary.

Overall: I still prefer to use BB cream!! haha. :p
I mean that’s just me. But if you are the foundation girl, try ZA!

Outfit of the day.
What I like most about today’s outfit is the colour MUSTARD and the details at the SHOULDERS.  MUSTARD is definitely IN this season and the details at the shoulders made my narrow shoulders broader which I love so much!

And and, how not to love my leopard envelope clutch? I love it!
