24th Birthday :)

Kindle Surprise! ^-^
That’s my birthday present cum anniversary present from Prawn this year.
This makes reading on the go so much easier and lighter!
Now I can read all the books I want without worrying about the storage space at home as well.
First book on my Kindle: Eat, Pray, Love. It’s interesting to read how Liz went about discovering herself.
I also wanna eat, pray and love.

I wanna eat because eating makes worries go away for a little while.
I wanna pray so that at least I feel that somebody is watching after me.
I wanna love so that I won’t feel alone.

Despite all the stress I’m facing, I’m lucky to have Prawn!
He makes my weekend a lot happier!
I like it that I can be all baby and less serious when I’m with him.
Life is too serious already!

Prawn brought me to River Safari. I really enjoyed myself seeing all the weird animals there!
Definitely recommend it!

We had Shabu Shabu buffet  for dinner! And I super love it!!
The ingredients were really fresh and we ate a lot, were super full after the meal!

And this I made with love, for the one who is still there for me after 6 years.
Simple but nonetheless filled with love!

Also, I feel happy to have my family with me and I pray for my mum’s speedy recovery!

She gave me an ang bao for my birthday!

When you think about all the great things you have, everything else doesn’t matter much anymore!

Super Granny’s BIG DAY AGAIN! =D

Another year has passed. It’s SUPER GRANNY’S BIRTHDAY AGAIN! Hehe.
Granny has been in and out of hospital so many times this year. May she continue to grow strong and happy each day.

Granny is blessed with so many filial children. When I think about life, the ultimate happiness is not about money or career; it is about who is with you till the very end. A happy family should be one’s ultimate goal in life imo.

What old people need is a pair of listening ear. We sat there listening to what Granny has to say. She’s like on repeat mode so often that kept us laughing and quite entertained. lol. Granny kept asking whether my sis or me is the younger sis. lolol. Actually, not only Granny can’t tell apart, many of my friends and acquaintances  can’t tell too. Granny also kept telling Prawn to save money so that he can marry me. LOL. She also tell us that a R/S is not a play thing and that we should take it seriously. She told us not to date for too long, and should get married after 3 years. LOL. But what she doesn’t know is that we have already been in a r/s for more than that number. =x Oh well, to me, a number is just a number. It doesn’t say anything about the r/s except for how long you’ve been together.

And then we discovered an awesome app to cam-whore. LOL. The girls are at it again. ^^

This is the third year Prawn went to my popo’s birthday. =)

Prawn brought a baby guitar today! And my papa was relieving his “guitar moments”. My dad used to be good at A LOT of musical instruments. I’m in awe.

And lastly, outfit of the day! =D

Tie-front shirt with spag + flare trousers and my huge Carlo Rino Bag as I had work prior to this celebration.

The flare trousers always made me look tall.

Korean Hot Pot!

So the youngest cousin has stepped into the army world now. We had a “farewell” and “good luck” dinner together at this Korean Restaurant called Woorinara, located along Jalan Jurong Kechill Road. Yeah, I know right! Korean food again! HAHA.

The side dishes were okay ~ I wish there were more varieties.

This is GOOD! I mean it doesn’t look that good BUT

IT TASTE REALLY YUMMY!! LOVE IT.

And then we have the Kimchi pancake. I seriously don’t know why the rest of them don’t like to eat Kimchi. I mean, what’s korean food without Kimchi? But then again, they also fell in love with this pancake. Shows how good this is!

The main lead is here ~ KOREAN HOT POT. Many asked if this is spicy. Hmm, I still think the spice level is moderate and acceptable to me. I can take the heat. ^^ LOVE IT. Well, probably except that there’s not much varieties of ingredients in it.

We also proceed onto having Udders ice-cream for dessert!

This street is so near yet it’s the first time we’ve explored the place.

Hopefully the boy will get used to Army life soon~! 

My last day of holiday

My 23rd

So it has been a super duper semester … yesterday was the last day of school and we finally had our presentation!! Though this is not the end of school since I still have so many assignments and exams to go, I’m still kind of happy that IT’S THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! hahaha!

Have been doing every single project with this girl this semester and it has been a great working experience!

So tired thereafter and we decided to head over to JP for dessert to CELEBRATE!!

I was meeting Prawn for dinner at the same time so I had asked him to join us for dessert! And then he caught me by surprise when he told he bought a cake from Awfully Chocolate! A huge cake just cos my friends were around and we can all share together.  I didn’t knew he wanted to celebrate my birthday though … : )

And then it was another surprise by the Flowers!

They presented two muffins for me and Pei Ling whose birthday is 3 days away from mine! They had to quickly change their plan from cake to muffins after knowing Prawn bought a cake. lol.

My birthday is also our 5th year anniversary but shall find some other time to celebrate that instead. : )
It’s been quite long since we last do any activities besides dinner together. Both of us have been really busy.

The next day Joanne and me went for our company’s gathering for buffet!

The buffet serves Peranakan Food! It’s nice and unique!!

Met my sis and off we went for a drama play at Fu Jian Hui Guan.
The play was not bad! Quite hilarious and it made me miss acting on stage quite  abit.

And on the actual day, I celebrated my birthday with my family!
Dad cooked mee sua for me early in the morning and mum boiled reg eggs for me.
They also got me my birthday cake in heart shape. <3

It’s been a simple and warm 23rd birthday for me.

有时候拿着新拍的照片，和旧照片相比，不仅会感到时光催人老。岁月的流失，反映在爸爸一根根的灰头发上， 脸上皱纹也多出许多。爸爸是整个家的经济来源，虽然赚的钱不多，但也足够我们一家人开开心心地度过每一天。感谢爸爸从小无微不至的照顾着我。我的部分性格其实也是遗传爸爸的。=p

Dragon Year Day 1

Chinese New Year Day 1:
Decided to wear something traditional looking. Nowadays the cheongsam dresses are so nice. It’s no wonder why so many people are wearing it as seen on Facebook. lol. I got mine from The Velvet Dolls which was an extremely long backorder wait. So I’ve decided NOT to buy anymore backorders. Don’t have that much patience to wait for more than a month.
