Lifestyle items from Qoo10

I bought some lifestyle items from Qoo10. Sometimes when you decide to browse randomly, you just can’t resist getting some cute items!

I’ve never had any bag organizer cos I didn’t see the need to have one. But the reason why I got it was becausese I wanted to use it as a mini bag when I go from places to places during work. So that when I need anything, such as the pointer,  marker or the pen, I don’t have to dig and dig into my pencil case. (I hate digging!)

Comes with three main compartments. Two with zips and one without. I’ve already decided to put my microphone and notebook  into the middle compartment and some important but not necessary things such as wallets and handphone into the zipped compartments. I will then put important things such as pens and markers in the pocket compartments which are easily accessible.

And then! I bought a cup! No this is not a paper cup.

It is made of ceramic and contains two layers so that you can put hot water without scalding your hands with the outer layer of the cup. You can also put cold water without condensation!

Resembles so much like a paper cup isn’t it?

The lid is of a soft jelly material. I shall put this cup in my office. =D

Next, I bought a fake swarovski pen in green. Too classy. Cannot resist.

This colour is so unique!!! Not like the common white, blue, pink and black. They are just so boring. Just writing with this makes me happy. Hehe.

My digital and mobile buys from Qoo10 (Love my portable charger!)

As mentioned in my earlier posts, I buy anything and everything from Qoo10 and today I’m gonna share my loots under the Digital and Mobile category. In this category, you can get anything ranging from mobile cases to even electronics such as camera and MP3 players.

These are some of the items which I got:

I’ve been looking for cheap and good quality mouse pads for the longest time. I bought one from Daiso and let me just say, it was the worse $2 bucks spent there ever. That mouse pad was cute to look at, but was not of any practical use. It wasn’t smooth for my mouse to work properly.

And so, I decided to try my luck at Qoo10 and bought two Sanwa Supply Mouse Pad.
This mouse pad comes in different colours and I decided to just get two in blue, one for home use and another for office use.
The size was just nice for a regular mouse and works really well! This is definitely one good quality mouse pad.

The back of the mouse pad has an anti-slip surface so it doesn’t move on the table. You know how irritating it can be when mouse pad moves together with your mouse. -.-
At Qoo10′s discounted price, I got these two mouse pads for only $3.80 in total! That’s the awesome thing about shopping at Qoo10; you constantly get discounts and offers.

I finally changed my phone after two plus years of using the Iphone. Now, I really love my S4 so much!! The best thing about converting to Andriod is the fact that I do not have to go through itunes to transfer my music/movies/pictures anymore! A new phone needs new clothings, so I decided to get her a cover on Qoo10.

At Blueskies Shop, it is so difficult to make a choice. There are simply too many phone covers to choose from.

In the end, I decided on this design with a black frame to compliment my white phone. Looks really retro isn’t it? This soft base cover not only looks good but also protect the phone well. All edges of the phone are protected. And, the best thing? I got it at only $9.40!

This has gotta be the slimmest, lightest portable charger I’ve seen thus far. It is even thinner than Iphone 4S by 2mm! It also includes a letter of authorization on the site to say that they are carrying the real thing.

A 5000 mAh is good enough for two or slightly more charges. So unless you are not gonna have electricity for a long trip, there’s no need to get more capacity.

Cheap Crabtree & Evelyn Hand Cream from Qoo10

I’m really happy to be one of the finalist for Best Qoo10 Online Shopping Blog category again this year.
Shopping has been one of my favourite things to do when I’m stress or unhappy. Retail therapy always make me feel better at the end of the day. But of course, I always make rational shopping decisions and only buy what I think I need or what’s worth the price tag.

Qoo10 is always the site I visit whenever I’m struggling to get some retail therapy done at night or when I want good deals. This hand cream I got from Crabtree & Evelyn cost me only $12.90 from Qoo10, when it’s retailing for $20 outside. It’s such a steal!!

Now, here’s the trick!! For good deals, please please remember to check out their Hot Deals, Weekly Specials and Bestsellers. They usually have pretty good deals there. Also, look out for time-sale and today’s sale. These are where you can find affordable deals!

I got this hand cream through their time sale, which is why it’s only $12.90. Anw, you won’t be able to get it at this price now cos the time sale is over. But you can still purchase it now if you want, cos it’s $13.50 now, very much cheaper than the retail price!! You can get it here.

I love rose scent so I purchased the rosewater. It smells really nice, like baby! I love it. Since it comes with a box, I reckon it’s pretty as a gift as well.

Also, it leaves the skin matte and not greasy at all. My skin feels moisturized after use.

The next item I got is Bath & Body Works Pocket Size Anti-Bacterial Hand Gel. I got it at $4.90 which wasn’t exactly a steal as the retail price is also about $5. But I still get it since it wasn’t easy to find Bath & Body Works products in Singapore, and also I needed a nice smelling hand sanitizer.

God knows how much bacterial I deal with everyday at work. It is definitely essential to keep one in my office. This Aqua Blossom is lightly scented with pure and refreshing scent of ocean drenched flowers. The smell lingers for quite long after application! Love it!

A pack of super duper cute fingers puppets!

Actually it’s a pack of 10, but hor, I somehow lose some of them … ahhh!

Favourite one out of the lot. too cute!

Useful for the mums who want to play with the children! You know you can narrate a story to the kids using fingers puppets, it’ll be so much more fun and enjoyable than reading it.

I think this is worth it! It’s only $10 for a pack of 10! It’s a sales item! I cannot find family puppets out there (usually only animals), so this is definitely great!

Daily necessities from Qoo10!

Last week I blogged about the fashion items I got from Qoo10! This week, I’m gonna show some of the daily necessities I got from Qoo10!
PS: Digital & mobile/Living & Auto is my favourite category to shop at Qoo10! Always can’t take my eyes off browsing those cute items!

Yup these are the items I got from this category!

I got this toiletries bag for travel purposes. This bag cost me $10.90!

The reason why I chose this bag is because you can hook onto any rod and it will be so convenient to use in the toilet!

It is also really spacious with lots of compartments so you can put a lot of products in it!

And yup, this is the hook …
I’m satisfied with this buy and I will rate it a 4/5! The zips looked a little different from the pictures though.

The second item is two cable winder for $5.90 $4.90. This was a discounted item!

It is very useful in keeping wires together!

Functional buttons attached ..

Yup, I use it to keep my ear piece and also keep stray wires off the table for a neater look!

This item is really useful for long and bulky wires and it is very easy to use. Just clip and you will be off to go! It is not exactly super cheap however but will do. I will rate it a 3.5/5!

The next item is what they call a smart pouch! lolol. It cost $15.70!
Let’s see how smart this pouch is …

When you open up, it’s in pale pink colour. Quite chio!

There are card compartments …

Coins compartment and also a handphone compartment! It’s like ALL IN ONE!

Pretty zip charm. I buy this cos my attachment is starting really soon and this will be useful for lunch hours! As my job requires me to walk about a lot, I wouldn’t carry my thick wallet out. This will be the pouch I’ll bring with me wherever I go.

The material of this pouch is good and not forgetting super useful! This was delivered to my door step so kudos to this company! I will rate it a 4.5/5!

The last item I got is an Iphone Cover + Screen Protector!!
This is my favourite item out of the whole lot! Both items cost me only $12.40 with a $1 discount!

The duo colour makes my Iphone really attractive! I saw someone using it on the bus one day and I was so attracted to it and I immediately went home to search on Qoo10!

The handphone and video stand for this case is also provided! I’ve been thinking about getting a stand for my iphone and this comes in just at the right time! Positive thinking attracts all the things I want!

This item is not only pretty, but super affordable and quality is good! It is also the second time I purchased from Megadeal, never  disappoint me. I will rate this a 5/5!!

Ending this post with a tip:
The price of items are not written down clearly, this is how you calculate the cost.

The black box shows the lowest price item of the store.
The green box shows the shipping cost. In this case, it is free.
The red box shows the additional item cost.
So, just add up all the prices together and you will get the item cost! That’s simple right?! I took a while to get used to it though.

My first purchase from Qoo10/Gmarket for Singapore Blog Award 2012 competition has finally arrived in my mailbox! If you didn’t already know, I’m repeating again…that I’m honored to be the top 10 finalists for the category Gmarket Best Online Shopping Blog! All top 10 finalists were given $100 G-credits to spend and blog! Hehe.

I made my first transaction on Fashion & Clothing Category and here’s what I’ve gotten for $30 bucks (including shipping) – 2 good quality dresses!

Tips: Always check the origin of the company you are buying from. If you can’t afford the wait, buy from stores located in Singapore! Check customers reviews on whether delivery is prompt and whether items are satisfactory.

The first item I got is a grey T-shirt dress that says “Attitude”!

Here’s the item code and picture shown on their website! I always love this sort of dresses and I have a feeling it will look good on me so I had to buy it!

This dress cost me $10.90 only!! I must say this dress did not disappoint me AT ALL. ^^

The quality is better than expected! Not some cheapo sheer cotton! The unique sleeves cut makes my small shoulder appear wider and arms slimmer!

But of course this dress appears longer on me than on the model and that’s because I’m very very short. But nothing a pair of heels can’t solve. =p

Overall, I’m really happy shopping at Jennie Shop and the delivery is very prompt! I received the item in less than 5 days time! The item I purchased is cheap and of good quality. ^^

The next dress I bought is a mustard piece with a peter pan collar!

I love anything with peter pan collar. lol. And this dress is super cute with 2 front pockets. Remind me of the nurse’s uniform. lol.

This dress is slightly more expensive. It is $16.10 BUT still, relatively cheaper than those selling in blogshops! I think blogshops would have sell this dress at $24!

The quality of this dress is good and it can last for a long time! The only downside is it didn’t fit me as well as the grey dress. I wouldn’t recommend a UK4 to buy it, you will have to get a belt to go with it. Yeah, I probably have to match it with a belt at the waist for a perfect fit.

Shopping with MLstory has also been a great experience! Delivery was also prompt and I received it at the same time as the grey dress! Thumbs up for the good quality dress too!

The next time you want to shop for clothings, never forget to check out Qoo10! Lots of dresses and tops going crazily cheap! Qoo10 is like Singapore’s version of Tao Bao!

How to use Gmarket/Qoo10 to shop?

When it comes to online shopping, everyone wants CHEAP and GOOD stuff WITHOUT STEPPING OUT OF THE DOOR. That’s my main reason why I shop online.
Most online blogshops in Singapore sell dresses at the range of $25 to $30. But I can find dresses at the range of $10 to $15 online!!

Where?! GMARKET! (now known as Qoo10, pronounced as Q10)

In fact, I just purchased two dresses at a total cost of $30 including postage. I would definitely share about my purchases when they arrive in my mailbox. Heh, so excited.

But it has occurred to me that not everyone knows how to shop at Gmarket/Qoo10. The site can be rather messy for first time users. But once you get used to it, it’s like heaven. You can get anything and everything from there, including pots and pans! lolol.

So here’s putting together a tutorial on how to use Gmarket/Qoo10!

1. Log on to gmarket.com.sg OR qoo10.com.sg

You’ll get to this page immediately. Now, don’t get freak out. lolol.

2. Have what you want to buy in mind, or you can just do random shopping.

See the search bar that’s being boxed in red? If you know what you want to buy, type and search.

They also have various categories for you to shop for … click the one that best interest you.

3. Let’s click on Fashion and Clothing as an example!

There are even more sub-categories to choose from! Let’s click dresses!

4. Here is where you get an idea of most of the shops which you can shop at.

The first 3 coloumns are Today’s Special, Deal Plus and Category Best Seller.

As you scroll down, you see more shops! You don’t have to look at the price stated there; it is not the price for all their items. But, you can check out Ratings to see if they are reliable or not. Of course the more ratings they have, the more reliable they are.

5. Click and go into the shop you want to see.

I clicked on Today’s Special and there’s a pop-up. Click on Details to go into their shop.

6. Check their info

See the box in red? It shows where the shop is based at. This shop is based in Korea, so you can expect a longer shipping time as compared to shops that are based in Singapore. Check out their payment methods too! I find it very convenient that they accept credit cards!

7. Scroll down and view their items available!

8. Examine their close-up.

9. Get your measuring tape ready.

Never buy anything without looking at the measurements. Ok so the length is 85cm, damm I cannot wear! It will be too long for me. So check check check before you buy anything!

10. Go back and check their item code if you are ready to buy.

11. Select the code and quantity.
