I had these 6 pieces eye brushes set and the retractable Kabuki brush from Ecotools for awhile now. I’m not someone who is very willing to part my money for brushes, but at the same time I can’t do without brushes. Not looking for the highest quality ones, but just the basic, decent ones that can help with my makeup application. I decided to give Ecotools a try since it is quite friendly to the pocket!
Ecotools are 100% cruelty-free, have incredibly soft bristles made of synthetic taklon and have handles made of bamboo and recycled aluminum ferrules.
This set Includes:
- Large Eye Brush
- Angled Crease Brush
- Petite Eye Shading Brush
- Highlighting Brush
- Smudge Brush
- Hemp & Cotton Case with mirror and room for your makeup brush set
The brushes are really smooth and soft, nothing compared to my lousy brushes that I had before where it is tough and the hairs kept dropping. This one doesn’t; no hair has dropped since I started using it. Pardon the specks of glitter on my brushes that I picked up from my eyeshadow.
They are really basic brushes that I would usually need. But unfortunately they are lacking of an angled brush and also a blending brush.
This kabuki brush is used for my loose powder application and I like it that it is retractable, and that makes it more hygienic.
Again, it also feels very soft on the skin.
Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with Ecotools and would probably look into Ecotools the next time I want to purchase any brushes.
