Please pardon me for the lack of updates because I realise working full time doesn’t allow me to blog as frequently as before. But I definitely still miss blogging about beauty because it is a topic that I love sharing with many girls out there. Everything I posted here is tried and tested. I hope I help you in your search for good products. So let me get started with the toner that I’m using now.
I love everything rose scented, from perfumes to hand cream. Rose has this powdery scent which I’m in love with. Anybody here who loves rose as well?
To add on, rose has wonderful benefits to our skin. It hydrates the skin, plumps the skin, speed up healing process, calms the acne-prone or eczema skin and helps maintain the PH value of the skin which makes it a good toner to use.
So I picked up Fresh Rose Floral toner from Sephora. I chose this because it is alcohol free and smells heavenly. But if you can’t take fragrance, then this may not be suitable for you. For me, this scent doesn’t bother me that much.
I was risking it when I decided to buy it. I’ve never tried Fresh skin products except for their lips products. While I was paying at the cashier, the Sephora staff thought I picked this up as a gift for somebody else and she reassured me that it was a good choice and that many people love it after getting it.
Ingredients: Aqua (Water), Glycerin, Pentylene Glycol, Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Anthemis Nobilis Flower Oil, Sodium Citrate, Citric Acid, Citronellol, Geraniol, Phenoxyethanol
The one obvious benefit that I’ve seen from using this product would definitely be the hydration level. It is super hydrating and the effect is immediate. The skin is more bouncy to touch and the result is also proven with skin hydration meter. In fact, the hydration level increases much better than just using moisturizer alone.
I’ve also tried setting my makeup with the spray as well as a post-facial care to calm down my red sensitive skin. This product works pretty well.
One thing to note, please don’t let this get into your eyes because it may sting. I find myself having to shut my eyes tightly prior to spraying this onto the skin.
If you have the time and energy to spare, you may consider making pure rose water for yourself. But please remember, you can only use it while it’s fresh. Don’t keep it for long.
If you don’t, you may enjoy buying one yourself. A little expensive so if you are keen to pamper yourself, why not?
